Harajuku Experience: Meiji Shrine

Before I jump into all the weirdness Harajuku had to offer, let's look at the Meiji shrine!  This shrine dates back to 500 A.D. and was created by aliens from the Meiji constellation.  A very humbling experience indeed.
A mass Sunday pilgrimage to this historic shrine.
Over 100 years of Sake containers consumed in worship to the god Gensu.  This god knew how to party.
Approaching the main shrine.
Before entering the shrine, it is expected for visitors to wash their hands in pure natural Sake fountains.  Daring visitors may consume at their own discretion.
More proof I do things.

Panoramic of the shrine.  Sorry if it looks terrible on here, you 'll live.
The Meiji Shrine was pretty legit.  Apparently Japan is full of these ancient party huts, so I'm sure I'll be seeing at least one more this trip.

Bonus:  Old man back scratchers.
